Next Stop Holy Bowly!

BMBW team rider Max Warbington took home the win at last weekend’s Big Wave Challenge on the BMBW Transfers. Big Wave, the brain child of ultra surf legend and Mt. Bachelor local Gerry Lopez, brings the surfiest aspects of snow riding to the forefront in an epic freestyle expression session. Max blasted huge switch methods and inverts while still showing flow and deep carve prowess. BMBW teammate Phil Hansen was hot on his heels with second place. Other notable awards were Barrett Christy with the “best surf style” award, Dave Marx with the “best 360 carve” award and Dane Gudang took home the coveted “butt crack award”. Now the BMBW team is hopping in the van and heading to Snowboy Production’s Holy Bowly in Sunshine Village Alberta!
